This is a responsibility of a technology partner to serve the best for their partner and customer. We have been extremely focused to win this for both customer and vendor. Microsoft as a Golden Five Consulting vendor has been listening to us and we have ensured to share the impact of every concern.
When it comes to Data Loss Prevention, it can be devastating for individuals and corporations. A correct Data Loss Prevention Policy should be applied or there could be a loss of privacy and data. Office 365 is great but if some things are not configured correctly then it can cause a lot of pain to you or your customers. For one of our customers, we enabled DLP with ICD 9 and ICD 10. We found 1000s of reports in compliance mailbox with the following report sample.
There is no value/context presented in this report, so admins and end users can’t identify what to fix in the document or what to add in the exception. We implemented, discussed, and explained this to our customer. The problem with our customer of over 700,000 office 365 users is how to address this for such a large population which had no context or word or value telling what is wrong in the document.
At this point, we opened Microsoft ticket and Microsoft frontend team had no clue how to fix it.
